Found this thru my 20th Century Design & Decorative Arts group on LinkedIn and really like it. Having done a few portraits myself, I really appreciate it as art and especially enjoy the formal dress and setting, yet the casual pose that the artist, Nicky Phillipps, shows the heirs to the British throne in. I think it matches the personalities (or at least the perceived personalities) of Harry and William. A fine piece of portraiture! My new/old fave guitar – the Gibson Moderne. This pic shows the same body with 3 different headstocks. Designed in 1957 (same time as the Explorer and Flying V models) but not produced and issued until 1982 to 1983. Highly collectable, and muy excellente in my book! What’s your favorite?
